I'm gonna runaway to Grandma...

Isn't this just the cutest little guy?  I can just see him going down the drive.  When my daughters were about four we bought them little overnight suitcases that said "Going to Grandma's".  So we took pictures of them going down the driveway like they were running away.  Thankfully they never really tried.

Appropriately this image is entitled "Runaway" at Digi Doodle Shop.  This week our challenge over at Digi Doodle Shop Challenges is stitching.  So get out that sewing machine or do some faux stitching and come join us for some fun.  Don't forget to stop by and see what the rest of the very talented ladies of the DT have come up with.  It will really inspire you!

This is the inside of my card.  I didn't print or stamp anything on the right-hand side, since I wasn't really sure what I'd use this card for.  Since this could actually be for a boy or a guy, I decided not to go crazy in frilly decorations.  I like buttons, and so I thought they and the jute would be good items to use.  The design paper all came from the open stock at one of the craft stores.  I've use a Spellbinder's nestibility (deckle, I believe) for the cut-out of the image; and on the inside I use one of the MS punch around the page sets.  Since my papers were not the correct size to use on one card, I used the corners on one side and the border on the other side.  I forgot to mention a few posts ago that I've gotten back to my Promarkers. I'm feeling a little better about how I'm coming with images that don't have a lot of wide open area, but I know I've still got a long way to go.  (I'm still more comfortable with my Prismacolor pencils.)

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Sweet Stop Sketches - sketch
Card Makin Mamas - for a child
Frosted Designs - stitching
Fussy and Fancy Challenge - male
