Hi! It's time for a new challenge over at
DDSC. Did you notice a slight difference in the name of our challenge? Well, you need to stop over at the site and check out the blog's new look. I think it's awesome!!! Not only did the blog change it's appearance, so did the
Store. And don't forget there is always a great sale going on for the month. Also, be sure to stop by and see the cards made by the rest of the very talented DT members.
This week the challenge is to use
no design paper or backing paper. I think most of us get used to the beautiful papers, that we don't always think about using alternate ways to make our cards. I know I haven't done so in many months, if not years. My card is really fairly simple. I've crimped some kraft paper and distressed it, then if you notice the dark brown paper, it's some that has bee embossed. The raffia lace and brads are from my stash.

Tough challenge Debbie, I love my paper, but you did beautifully with it! The crimped paper is a nice idea, it gives so much texture. The raffia is a nice touch and the kitty cat is quite cute!
