Isn’t it neat how you can make up you own words? LOL. I’m still on a roll with my puns. I know there’s at least one more. (Sorry.
)
The couple who’s getting this one is well deserving. (Well the husband is, because he uses puns all the time.)
I cut the base of the card with dies by Cheery Lynn. I wanted the next layer to be smaller than the base, so after cutting the patterned paper again I had to trim it by hand (I don’t have a full set.)
I also used the Doily heart, the border hearts and one of their great leaves.
The image is one of those adorable ones over at Digi Doodle. After coloring them with my Prismacolor Pencils I used the Creative Inspirations paint on her, so she would sparkle. It’s a shame it doesn’t really show up.
The ribbon, flowers, gems and paper comes from my stash. I just had to use one of my Cuddle Bug embossing folders, so it looked a bit more like a snake.
Well, I think the rest is self explanatory. I’m entering this card in the following challenges;

Did you think I had disappeared; especially with all of my puns lately? LOL. No such thing. I’ve got a couple more coming up next month, too. (Just thought I’d fore-warn you.)
This is an image I’ve had pretty much from the beginning of my blog. It’s so sweet, and is from a former site “winkwinkink.com”. Melanie did such lovely animals. This is the second time I’ve used him, and I can see him being one I could use again and again.
This little guy was just too irresistible. Here is a close up.
And this is how I did the inside of the card. The top portion is where I wrote my message to the couple.
The ingredients I’ve used are:
I used four punches and die cuts. They are Cheery Lynn, Nestibilities, Martha Stewart and Fiskars. The image is my newest die cut by Nestibilities. The card stock, buttons, gems word bubble, paper and ribbon are from my stash. I made the flower by using petals that came in a package that could be put together. I generated the sentiments on my computer.
I’m entering this card in the following challenges:
City Crafter Challenge – pretty inside

I had decided not to do a favorites list this year, since it was so difficult last year. LOL. But I was motivated into doing so after I visited Debby of A Scrapjourney’s blog. She has a challenge to show top five (or more) cards and she will be drawing for candy on the 6th.
I already know it will be more than five, but let’s see what I come up with. And it’s in no particular order. If you would like more information on any of these cards, double click on the picture, and it will take you to the original post, with who did the image, and things I used.
These pictures are of my first (and so far, my last) flower petal card.
This is for anyone that loves shoes.
I tried a number of other styles of cards. This is my first half circle card.
This was the first of three easel box cards that I made.
This is one of my favorites because of all the die cuts that I used. It looks so delicate.
Just as I was about to pick my sailing ships for June, this one pops up. I just loved the characters and it was so fun.
Another new technique I did is this stationery set.
Then I had to go back to one of my favorites in the style (easel) and one of my favorite designers, Mo Manning.
How cute is he? I adore him and the papers were all so cute. This really was a hard month to choose from though.
This was for my husband for our 39th anniversary, and I have to show it again.
I loved these little birds. And I tend to like pinks.
For my last card, I end with one of my favorite designers again, Mo Manning.
Well, as you can see I couldn't do just five; I had to be fair to each month didn't I ? LOL (Sorry Debby.) I hope you’ve enjoyed a look back with me at my work. It was very difficult to choose what I did, and on another day, I might very well have chosen different cards. We’ll see what this year brings.
Hugs,
