To sneeze or not to sneeze...

I'm so excited to be able to share my first card with you as a member of the DT of  Digi Doodle Shop's Best.  I think I put in my application as soon as I saw the call for new members. I love the digis that this uber talented mother and daughter team come up with.  They have any type of digi you might be looking for.  Stop on over at the Digi Doodle Shop here.  I'm working with one of the funnier images this week, but in the weeks to come, I'm sure you'll see some of the more realistic ones from me. 

Now, back to the card.  I laughed as soon as I saw this little guy.  My hubby came up with the caption on the front.  And I finished it off the inside. 

 

And then when you open it up:

It's been a while since I've used this little box. There is a tutorial on You Tube, but I'm not sure if it's the same one I used.  One thing I like about this is that there is no cut-out for the box.  Instead it is a little box itself.  Then I just used half of a tissue in the box.  You don't want to put too much in it so it doesn't keep it from laying flat.  If you would like to have the measurements I used, please contact me and I'll be happy to give them to you.  Or if I get enough requests for them, I'll put a tutorial  on my blog. 



I've embossed the blue cardstock, used a punch from MS, as well as decorative scissors for the paper for the caption.  The striped paper is by DCWV, and I'm not sure about the rest of the paper.  The flower and butterfly are by Creative Memories.  All of the sentiments were typed on my computer.
