Dream a little dream...

I mentioned a while back that I was doing a box for three young ladies; well this is for the oldest one.  I had purchased this image from Mo Manning some time ago, and I thought this would be a gorgeous image for a teen.  Can you guess which three colors she likes best?  The teal blue (or whatever you call it today) and hot pink were two.  The third one might be a little harder, but it's lime green.  I guess if I do enough of these boxes I'll get better at them, but they're still not exactly like I want them to be.  Here's a closeup of the image.

The sky is colored too, but I wanted it to look windy, so didn't color it smooth.  I know you can't see the wind, but the clouds, etc. look a little different.
This is the caption I typed up, it's another one that my dh helped me come up with. (Isn't he a doll?) lol

There are only a couple of items that might not be self explanatory as to where they came from.  I made the flower with a die that I found at My Favorite Things.  The papers are from my stash, as are the doilies, buttons, jewels and twine.

The "knob" for the drawer is made from a button with a post on the back, that I put on top of a punched flower I colored with the ink that I used to distress some of the paper.  It's not very visible, but I did some faux stitching around the main part of the card.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

CES Challenges - sketch
2 Sisters Challenge Blog - bingo - die cuts, glitter, flowers
House of Gilli - stripes & bling
