Inside right of card where I placed the message.
Wow, it's been quite a while since I posted more than one card on a single day. Of course, I wasn't able to post this one until now so my friend, who I made it for, didn't see it on-line before she got it in person. LOL! I was happy with how it turned out. I don't remember who the papers are from, as I've had them for a long time.
Many of you may recognize the little couple as being from Lili of the Valley. They are one of my favorite stamps. This is one of the first images that I colored with the few Promarkers that I have. I usually use Prismacolor pencils. I decided to sew on the designer papers, and then I added stickles to the one that I didn't sew on. The pearls are by Recollections (they don't show up as pretty as they really are). I made the flower with my DS and Cricut then sprayed with glimmer mist, scrunched up, put a brad in the center and then played with it until I got it how I wanted. Oh, and of course I waited until it dried.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Truly Scrumptious - sketch, and brads, buttons or bows as optional
Fab n' Funky - recipe
Digi Doodle Shop's Best - distressing
Stampin For the Weekend - anything
CES Challenges - anything
The Paper Players - anything
The Crafty Pad - pearls
Dutch Dare - vintage summer (the couple looks summery, don't they)
Polka Doodles - contest
Thanks for looking and for any comments you might make.
