A Hoppy Hello

Click on any image to enlarge.

This is a card I made for a dear friend who has had to have his gall bladder removed (the old way) and is not feeling too well. He is a big fan of frogs, and since I've known him and his wife for ages, I try to add to that collection at any occasion. LOL!

I embossed the orange top layer with my cuttlebug, the frog and the mushroom are from my new Paisley cartridge. I'm entering this in the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. I've also used my punch by Martha Stewart. The papers are by Recollections and Cosmo Crickets. The frog has been printed three times, the mushroom top twice and then both pop-dotted. I still felt the frog needed something, so I did some doodling on him.

This is great. If a card could be an emotion it would ooze happiness.

i had my cricut expression for almost a year before i ever used it. i have tons of stuff ot scrapbook but not sure how to begin and am getting into card making. i just bought from annies attic "making cards with circut", i did the download version. luckily i have most of the cartridges. a question...would a cuttlebug be a good investment and what does it actually do?

I just love this card..I saw it once and then I couldn't find where I had seen the card and then I came across another one of your cards and it led me to your site. I may have to steal this. Your cards are beautiful thank you so much for sharing your ideas. I found a sympathy card that you made that I may get some inspiration from.
