She’s Going to Have a Baby

This card was for my friend to send to her DDIL after she found out she was going to be a grandmother. I made up two cards and gave her the choice as to which one she wanted. I would send the other one. Of course I used NA for the pregnant lady. All I had to do was choose my papers, add a little bling and it came together.

She’s Expecting

This is the card I sent to my friend's DDIL and son. I wasn't as happy with it as I was my other one. I think what I don't like is the job I did on the baby's face. I wish I had had the Peachy Keen face stamps. Oh well, what's done is done. All of the clothes were cut from NA at 1-1/2" and the booties at 2". I did get the inspiration for this card from another person on the MB.

Thank You for Your Gift

This is my first tri-shutter card, or tri-fold. These cards are so easy once you figure out how to score and make your cuts. All I had to do was decide what combination of papers I wanted to use. All of the embellishments were cut from HD. I stamped phrases in other areas. The friend I gave the card to enjoyed it.

Happy Anniversary

Here is my take on the ampersand anniversary card that Tracy Gough posted a while back. I've also done one in aqua and brown, and I hope to have pictures of it later. (I have to borrow it back.) I wanted the card to be larger than what you could cut from a 12"x12" sheet of paper, so I cut the ampersand from PS at 7-1/4" for the base and 7" for the top color. I needed to combine the two so I used FF to cut out the hinges I used; I cut out two, one real size at 1" and the second at real size, blackout also at 1". They were then glued together with the red on top. I wanted this to show up on the front of the card, but not the back, on the back I cut an additional ampersand at 7-1/4" and adhered it to the back one. Next I added flourishes from SYI, flowers from AE, MM for the initials then plenty of bling and stickles. All of the sentiment was computer generated.

Happy Anniversary

I thought this would make a beautiful anniversary card for some dear friends. I don't remember which cartridge I used to cut the hearts, but I believe I had to use two different carts to find both the scalloped edge and the straight edge. I used a variety of embossed paper, bling, ribbon and silk flowers. The words were computer generated.

Get Well Soon

I used some more of the clipart that I colored with my Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I ran some of the background paper through the embossing machine. I added some bling and stamped my greeting.

Boy with Bird

I've always liked the precious moments characters, so I totally enjoyed doing this. This was one of the sketches on the mb, but I'm not sure which one it was. I didn't realize that I didn't use Cricut or Cuttlebug until I was looking at the card later.

Field of Tulips

This is a card that I scrap-lifted from Kris Lancaster. She gave the cut sizes for the tulips, and I followed her cuts. I didn't have the same papers, nor did I use the corner scroll. I love the way the card turned out, I'll just be glad when I can do a card without having to "copy" someone elses. (I'm not very imaginative, at least when it comes to cutting out matting papers, and these cut items.) I'm so used to using software, and modifying the design with fussy-cutting, pop-dotting, glitter and other things.

My First Anniversary Card Posted on Cricut MB

This is the first anniversary card I did with Cricut and Cuttlebug. Of course, there's not much Cricut, but a little more of the embossing. I got the idea to color the bird and other items on the paper from seeing another person on the mb do so. I used the Prismacolor pencils without the Gamsol. The I added the pearls, the silk flower and found background paper that I felt went well with the project. Thanks for looking.

Here's a Little Medicine...

This is my first attempt at using the mcpt on a card. Of course, I've had to buy new stamps. Lol. I really like the House Mouse characters. I know I'll be buying more of these guys. I have a friend who isn't feeling well, so I thought this would be very appropriate. I cut out my frame from WC, I believe. Then I added paper embossed with Cuttlebug folders, a few flowers, borders and some lace. This would make me feel better.
